  • The Company retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the website’s content, including any intellectual property rights therein.

Mediation Requirement and Limitation of Liability Policy

By accessing this website and/or engaging with any services provided by Maryland Center for Mediation, Counseling, and Coaching, LLC, you agree to the following terms regarding dispute resolution and limitation of liability:

1. Mandatory Mediation for Disputes

  • Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to the use of this website, the services provided, or these policies shall first be resolved through mediation.
  • Mediation will take place at the Maryland Center for Mediation, Counseling, and Coaching, LLC, or another mutually agreed location, and will be facilitated by a neutral mediator.
  • Each party agrees to bear their own costs for mediation unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

2. Limitation of Liability

  • The Company, including its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates, shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to:
    • Use of the website or reliance on its content.
    • Services provided by the Company, includes mediation and coaching. Counseling services are a referral only service. We do not provide Counseling services.
    • Any outcomes, actions, or decisions taken by the client during or after engagement with the Company.
  • The Company’s total liability, in any case, shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client for services rendered.

3. Disclaimer of Warranties

  • All services and content are provided “as is” without any express or implied warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

4. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

  • This policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Maryland (or Florida, if applicable for services rendered in Florida).
  • All disputes must be resolved through Mediation in the applicable state. The client may not engage in legal services for any purpose. The client has the right to not receive services or seek services through another provider.

5. Waiver of Legal Claims

  • By using this website or engaging the Company’s services, clients expressly waive the right to file lawsuits, seek punitive damages, or bring legal claims against the Company or its representatives.
